Instructions
 

Cooking the Pasta

  • Boil salted water in a large pot. Cook the spaghetti (or fettuccine) according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Making the Sauce

  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Toss in the minced garlic and sauté until golden brown and fragrant.
  • Add the diced tomatoes, a generous pinch of salt, and a good crack of pepper. Simmer this mixture for about 5 minutes, allowing the tomatoes to soften.
  • Lower the heat and stir in the heavy cream, mixing until well blended.

Combining

  • Toss your cooked pasta into the sauce, ensuring that every strand is luxuriously coated.

Serving

  • Serve immediately topped with fresh basil. A sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese can add extra indulgence.
