  • 2 pieces Croissants Freshly baked, light and flaky.
  • 2 slices Cheese (cheddar or mozzarella) Use your favorite cheese for best results.
  • 1 tablespoon Butter Use salted or unsalted depending on preference.

Optional Seasonings

  • to taste Garlic powder For added flavor.
  • to taste Fresh herbs (basil or oregano) Optional for extra flavor.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
  • Slice each croissant in half horizontally.
  • Spread butter generously on the outer sides of each croissant half.

Cooking

  • In the preheated skillet, place one half of the croissant, layer with cheese on top, and cap it with the other half.
  • Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cheese has melted.
  • If desired, sprinkle with garlic powder or herbs during the last minute of cooking.

Serving

  • Serve warm and enjoy the crunch and flavor.

Notes

For best results, do not skip the buttering step. Experiment with cheese combinations or add cooked bacon or avocado for variations.
